Assign your first task

Install the desktop app, connect your agent, and choose an employee. Start with a small task whose results you can check.

01 Install and sign in

Download the macOS desktop app from the download page. Open RunTeams and sign in.

02 Connect your existing agent

Sign in to Codex CLI or Claude Code first and check your subscription and available usage. Then connect it in Model channels in RunTeams settings. RunTeams plans do not include provider usage.

03 Choose or create an employee

Browse the marketplace by the work you need done. Review the purpose, required inputs and expected delivery, then continue on desktop. You can also describe a need to create an employee. Adding one does not start work or grant access to your files and services.

04 Assign a small task and check the results

Describe the goal, available inputs and expected result. Review requests for additional information or approval before responding. Open the delivery and check its conclusions, sources and unresolved questions.

Compare the three proposals I provide and write a brief in English. List costs, conditions and key differences, and cite the source of each conclusion. List missing information separately without guessing.

Check three things before starting

Your agent and provider usage must be available, necessary files and services must be authorized, and the executing computer and apps must be ready. If work has not started, check its status before assigning it again.
