01 Prepare and sign in to Claude Code

Install RunTeams and the official Claude Code CLI. Sign in through Claude Code and confirm the account is available. Provider rules apply to subscriptions, models and usage.

02 Add a channel in settings

Open Model channels in settings and add Claude Code. Complete the detected configuration and choose an available model and reasoning setting. If account or usage information cannot be read, resolve the issue and check again.

03 Check access to files and tools

Authorize only the files and services needed for the task. Enabled native skills, plugins and MCP tools follow Claude Code’s official mechanisms and do not need separate bindings for each employee. Availability depends on the executing computer.

04 Check one delivery

Assign a small task and review its output, sources and records. If sign-in, usage or execution fails, resolve the cause before choosing to continue or start again.

Check that your agent can read and organize materials

Read these meeting notes and list decisions, action items and unresolved questions. Flag tasks without an explicitly named owner instead of inventing one.

Connecting an agent does not grant file access

Provider sign-in and access to materials are separate. Connecting Claude Code does not authorize all files or third-party accounts. Check the scope needed for each task.
